A note from the owner:
In 2009, fresh out of college with a graphic design degree and no interest in cubicles or cranking out newsletters, duceTWO was born in my parents’ basement. It started as a hustle selling unlicensed sports shirts online that took off fast. So fast that I attracted some high-profile lawyers (yes, I got the cease and desists letters to prove it). Lesson learned, I pivoted to local college homecoming shirts and found my niche.
I’d post meetup times online, pop the trunk, and college students would line up around the block to grab their party tees. One by one, school by school, the demand grew, and so did the team. Our first member came from one of those meetups.
Troy would travel to Erie on demand, and we would navigate how to complete jobs far too advanced for our limited equipment at the time. We were no strangers to working around the clock to knock out orders, often trading off naps on the shop couch. Day shifts, night shifts, often times both, we refused to stop until every deadline was hit.
TROY
Troy helped lay the foundation and establish the standard our customers have grown to expect.
With a screen printer in place and production in good hands the foundation was laid. While the windows were boarded up with “Coming Soon”, we put in the work on the printing press while simultaneously building out a storefront, production area, and offices. When we finally opened our doors, the grand opening marked the beginning of a new chapter — we were official.
Since then, duceTWO has grown into a full-service shop offering screen printing, embroidery, logo design, promotional products, and fundraising solutions. We’ve hired a dedicated team, invested in top-tier equipment, and have never looked back since.
That team is the heart of duceTWO, and we’re lucky to have some incredible people behind the scenes.
NATE
Nate is the most integral member to date and the best printer in the city (though I may be biased). With over a decade of screen printing under his belt, Nate’s attention to detail ensures a premium experience for our customers. Loyal to the core, he’s here sun up to sun down making sure every piece is pressed and every deadline is delivered.
SEAN
If you are one of the few people who don’t know Sean, you will quickly feel like you’ve known him for years. Sean is the owner of Dotigan, our in-house clothing brand. His years of experience outfitting the city help bring your vision to life. Whether you are placing an order via phone, email, or in person, Sean’s top priority is making your ordering process seamless and stress-free.
KADEICE
Kadeice has perfected a dirty but essential part of the printing process. From screen creating to screen reclaiming, Kadeice elevates our production one frame at a time. He has been with us for almost five years, and his process keeps our shop running smoothly.
MICHAEL
Michael is the most recent member to our team; however, he feels like the OG of the group. After 30+ years atop the radio industry, he brings a wealth of insight and professionalism to the team. Michael’s dedication to his craft and meticulous nature are what insures all orders are dispatched in an accurate and timely manner.
We owe our growth to the Erie community. Your word of mouth has carried us from trunk pop-ups to where we are today. For that, we’re forever grateful.
