duceTWO “About Us”
In 2009, fresh out of college with a graphic design degree and no interest in cubicles or cranking out newsletters, duceTWO was born in my parents’ basement. It started as a hustle selling unlicensed sports shirts online that took off fast, so fast I attracted some high-profile lawyers (yes, I got the cease and desists to prove it). Lesson learned, I pivoted to local college homecoming shirts and found a niche.
I’d post meetup times online, pop the trunk, and college students would line up around the block to grab their party tees. One by one, school by school, the demand grew, and so did the team. Our first team member, Troy, came from one of those meetups. He eventually moved to Erie and took the apartment above the storefront but basically lived in the shop. With limited equipment at the time we’d often trade off naps on the couch, working around the clock to knock out orders—day shifts, night shifts, sometimes both. Troy helped lay the foundation for what duceTWO would become.
TROY
Our very first hire. Around here, we call him Troy Jordan aka the GOAT.
With a screen printer in place, things took off. We built out a storefront, production area, and offices. For nearly a year the windows were boarded up while we put in the work. When we finally opened our doors, the grand opening marked the beginning of a new chapter—we were official.
Since then, duceTWO has grown into a full-service shop offering screen printing, embroidery, logo design, promotional products, and fundraising solutions. We’ve hired a dedicated team, continued to invest in top-tier equipment, and never looked back.
That team is the heart of duceTWO, and we’re lucky to have some incredible people behind the scenes.
NATE
Nate is our most integral member to date—with nearly a decade of screen printing experience, there’s nothing he can’t handle. Known for his sharp eye, Nate’s attention to detail keeps our quality top-tier. Loyal to the core, he’s here sunup to sundown making sure every order is done right and every deadline is hit.
SEAN
Sean is usually the first face you see when you walk through the door. As the owner of Dotigan Clothing Company, he brings nearly a decade of fashion industry experience to the table. Whether he’s answering phones, checking emails, or working with you in person, Sean makes the entire ordering process easy and stress-free.
KADEICE
Kadeice has been with us for almost five years and has cleaned more screens and ink than you can imagine. The screen room is basically his personal office, and he keeps production moving one screen flip at a time. It’s not the cleanest job, but he does it with a smile—and keeps our shop running smoothly day in and day out.
MICHAEL
Michael is our most recent member who somehow still feels like the OG of the group. After 30+ years in the radio industry, he brings a wealth of insight and professionalism to the team. If you spot a neatly handwritten name on your box, that’s his signature touch and you can pretty much guarantee a perfectly boxed order.
We owe our growth to the Erie community. Your word of mouth support has carried us from trunk pop-ups to where we are today. For that, we’re incredibly grateful.
